Clothes maketh the woman: the diary
10/02/08- Oni Oshodi (Harun Morrison)
I went to Tate Modern and pretended I was
being eaten by a nightmarish-movie spider. Aaaaaaggghhh!!!
I
leap-frogged the giant crack in the gallery floor. I kept worrying about little
children slipping into the cracks and being lost forever.
I had my photo taken.
I went to Battersea Power Station. It was like
a cathedral without a sense of God.
I went to LynnetteÕs birthday party. As her
Irish pals got drunk, I got less of the conversation.
I read Gender Trouble by Judith Butler
I admired the girls playing the records in the
Spread Eagle on Kingsland Rd.
I lost my student Oyster Card.
I met Joe and Anne.
I met Helen but she looked like Ayo.
I had my favourite bagel combination of cheese
and crispy bacon on Brick Lane.
I popped into BAC and spoke to Shelley
Hastings and Richard Dufty.
There were moments when I felt like a walking sandwich board.
